Riding from Jávea
Headlands, the Montgó and empty valleys
Jávea sits beneath the Montgó massif, between the Cap de Sant Antoni and the Cap de la Nau. The roads out to the headlands climb above the cliffs with the sea far below: short rides with big views.
The real riding is inland. The Jalón valley and the Coll de Rates are about 31 km away, and the quiet interior towards Pego and the Vall d'Ebo is closer to Jávea than to the resorts further south. The coast road south to Moraira and Calp is never flat and never dull.

Our route suggestions start and finish in Altea, about 36 km away. The Cap de la Nau & Xàbia route runs right through Jávea to the lighthouse, so you can join it in town.

Renting a bike in Jávea: questions
Do you really deliver as far as Jávea?
Yes. Jávea is in our northern Costa Blanca delivery zone, at the same flat price: €30 each way, or €60 for delivery and collection.
Can I collect the bike myself instead?
You can, free, at Hotel Cap Negret in Altea, by appointment. It is about 36 km from Jávea, so most guests here choose delivery.
What is included?
A full service before every rental, setup to your measurements, two bottle cages, a puncture repair kit, a Garmin or Wahoo mount, and route advice with GPX files. Pedals are €5 per day, or bring your own.
What if I have a mechanical?
Call us. Jávea is inside our delivery area, so we will come to you, and if the bike cannot be fixed at the roadside we will swap it for another.
