Why so many cyclists stay in Calpe
Calpe is one of the best-known cycling bases in Europe. Every winter, professional teams fill its hotels for training camps, and it is easy to see why: the coast road, the Jalón valley and the climbs behind Benissa all start on the edge of town.
From Calpe it is about 30 km to the top of the Coll de Rates, via Benissa and the Jalón valley to Parcent. The coast north to Moraira and Xàbia starts at your door, and the Mascarat headland and Altea are just to the south.

Do you deliver to hotels in Calpe?
Yes. We deliver to hotels, villas and apartments anywhere in Calpe for €30 each way. Tell us the address when you book, and if you are at a hotel, check with them where the bike can be stored.
Can I collect the bike myself instead?
Yes, collection at Hotel Cap Negret in Altea is free. It is 14 km from Calpe along the coast. Collection is by appointment, so we can meet you early, late or straight off a flight.
What is included?
A full service before every rental, setup to your measurements, two bottle cages, a puncture repair kit, a Garmin or Wahoo mount, and route advice with GPX files. Pedals are €5 per day, or bring your own.
What if I have a mechanical?
Call us. Calpe is inside our delivery area, so we will come to you, and if the bike cannot be fixed at the roadside we will swap it for another.
